In the Zaporozhye region, February 5 is declared a day of mourning for the four victims of the fire in the regional infectious diseases hospital.

This is reported by the Department of Information Activities and Public Communications of the Zaporozhye Regional State Administration.

"By order of the chairman of the Regional State Administration Alexander Starukh, February 5 in the region was declared a day of mourning in memory of three patients and a doctor who tragically died in a fire in the regional infectious diseases hospital," – the message says.

On the night of February 4, a fire broke out in one of the boxes in the intensive care unit of the regional infectious diseases hospital in Zaporozhye, where patients with COVID-19 are being treated. The fire killed three patients and a doctor, and two more were injured.
