Movement in the direction of Gori tunnel Tbilisi-Senaki is prohibited

In the Gori tunnel located at the 88th kilometer of the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze highway of international importance, a fan was damaged during the transportation of military equipment, due to which the movement of all types of vehicles in the direction of the Tbilisi-Senaki direction is prohibited. 

According to the Roads Department of Georgia, during the closure of the Tbilisi-Senaki direction of the road tunnel, the traffic will be switched to the Senaki-Tbilisi direction of the tunnel and the Senaki-Tbilisi direction will be switched to the Gori tunnels entrance roads.

 The movement will be carried out under the direct supervision and coordination of the patrol police. 

How long the restriction will take effect is still unknown.
