Police in Saguramo, central Georgia, have arrested three individuals on charges of illegal possession of a large quantity of narcotic substances, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

According to the MIA, officers from the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department detained a 45-year-old man identified as M.L., a 29-year-old man identified as D.D., and a 23-year-old man identified as N.N.

During a personal search of the suspects, law enforcement officers seized MDMA as evidence.

The offense is punishable by up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
