Two beneficiaries have tragically lost their lives in a fire that broke out at the Mukhrani Savane nursing home in the Mukhrani area in eastern Georgia. The State Care Agency has confirmed the incident and expressed condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased.

According to the Ministry of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Protection, and the State Care Agency, two other beneficiaries were also injured in the fire and have been transferred to a medical facility for treatment. Mikheil Sarjveladze, the minister, along with local government representatives, visited the injured and assessed their condition.

Following the incident, all beneficiaries at the Mukhrani nursing home underwent health checks and were relocated to other shelters, where they are receiving necessary care and services. An investigation into the cause of the fire has been initiated.
