Zodelava said he is effectively confined in a prison cell and that his ability to communicate remains limited

Murtaz Zodelava, one of several individuals detained over alleged calls to overthrow the constitutional order in October, told a court hearing on Tuesday that restrictions on his contact with the outside world had been extended for a further two months.

Speaking at the session, Zodelava said he is effectively confined in a prison cell and that his ability to communicate remains limited. He stressed that he has not violated any prison rules and asserted that his dignity has been maintained.

The Interior Ministry previously announced the arrest of Zodelava, Paata Burchuladze, Irakli Nadiradze, Paata Manjgaladze, and Lasha Beridze on 5 October in connection with alleged attempts to challenge the constitutional order.
