NATO calls on Georgian Govt to accelate democratic reforms

Javier Colomina, NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy and Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, on Monday called on Georgian authorities to accelerate reforms to strengthen democratic institutions and promote the Georgian people’s desire for Euro-Atlantic integration.

“NATO supports Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, is committed to our long-standing partnership with Georgia and calls on its government to accelerate reforms to strengthen democratic institutions and advance Georgian people’s aspirations towards Euro-Atlantic integration”, Colomina said on his X network.
