It is unlikely NATO will unleash war against Russia following the recent fall of a missile on the territory of Poland which is a member of the alliance, killing two on Tuesday, Gela Vasadze, an analyst in Georgia’s Strategic Analysis Center – GSAC told Front News on Wednesday.

“What fell in Poland has not been identified so far -was it a Russian missile or debris from a destroyed Russian missile. There is also an opinion that it was a Ukrainian missile. If this missile was accidentally dropped, then Articles 4 and 5 of the NATO Charter will not be triggered. However, in any case, Russia is responsible for this war and its consequences”, said the analyst.

He suggested that Ukraine was expected to receive additional weapons following the incident, while Russia would face further sanctions.

“As for Poland, they are very well aware that this war is not only against Ukraine, but against European civilization as a whole, and they express their unconditional support for Ukraine,” said Vasadze.

He noted that Ukraine was focused only on “complete victory”.

“Yesterday’s barbaric attack on Ukraine was a response to the proposal made by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the G20 summit, which implies the complete restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity, the withdrawal of troops and the transfer of war captives.

“As for the issue of Crimea, it is Ukraine and the restoration of territorial integrity implies Crimea as part of Ukraine. Other versions about the temporary status of Crimea are Russian fake information. Today, no one will make concessions, neither Ukraine nor the West,” Vasadze said.
