Nika Melia, the leader of the Coalition for Change, declared that protests in Georgia will be a daily occurrence, asserting that “not a single calendar day will pass without protest.”

Speaking at a rally on Rustaveli Avenue on Monday evening, he emphasized that these protests should ultimately evolve into a powerful movement capable of toppling the current regime.

Melia expressed his unwillingness to accept the rule of Bidzina Ivanishvili, referring to the leader of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party, Bidzina Ivanishvili.

“I would rather die than tolerate Ivanishvili’s regime. I will not raise my children under this Russian-style regime. I know that all of you think the same way. This fight requires solidarity and support; we need to strengthen one another. No one but us can save this country,” he stressed.

The protest, organized by opposition parties, is currently taking place on Rustaveli Avenue.
