Nika Melia, leader of the Coalition for Changes, has called on supporters to gather at the Tbilisi Court of Appeal at 3:00 pm today to advocate for a fair review of complaints regarding the recent elections.

In a social media post, Melia emphasized the importance of public presence at the court to demand impartial hearings on the invalidation of electoral districts, an issue raised by several non-governmental organizations.

The appeal follows a legal precedent set yesterday in Tetritskaro, eastern Georgia, where Judge Vladimir Khuchua ruled that the existing election machinery did not adequately ensure the secrecy and security of voters’ ballots, he said.

Melia urged supporters to change plans from a previously scheduled rally at the Sports Palace to the Court of Appeal, located at 7a Grigol Robakidze Avenue in Digomi. “It is crucial today to demand a fair hearing,” Melia wrote.
