Nino Dolidze, the head of the International Society for Fair Electiins and Democracy (ISFED) organization and a longtime advocate for women’s rights, joined the Women’s March, underway in Tbilisi, to emphasize the importance of amplifying women’s voices during protests.

“It is particularly important for women’s voices to be heard when protests arise due to elections that were neither free nor fair. Women played a significant role during the pre-election period, fighting for fair elections and encouraging voter participation, including among women voters. I have worked for years on both electoral issues and women’s rights, and I am joining this march to ensure that women’s voices are not overlooked,” said Dolidze.

The participants of the Women’s March gathered at Freedom Square, carrying suitcases with slogans such as “Bidzina, Leave! I’m Staying!” Organizers announced that the march would culminate at the residence of Bidzina Ivanishvili, the honorary chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream party.
