Deputy Speaker of Parliament Nino Tsilosani on Monday alleged that the Soros Foundation – the Open Society Foundations – played a role in organizing street performances during recent protests in Georgia against Governmnet;s decision last month to halt EU integration until 2028.

Speaking to Imedi TV, Tsilosani claimed that some protest activities were being coordinated directly from the foundation’s Tbilisi office.

In a social media post, she linked these claims to global developments, claiming “while the US President-elect, Donald Trump, is conducting a survey on whether to ban Soros and his foundation, the Soros Foundation is organizing anti-government rallies in Georgia.”
