Nino Tsilosani, deputy speaker of Georgia’s parliament, has accused certain Georgians living abroad of planning unrest in the country, describing their actions as both criminal and insulting.
Writing on social media on Tuesday, Tsilosani said almost every statement by these individuals “is criminal,” alleging that they aim to create disorder through physical force and even form illegal armed groups. She added that what was particularly offensive was that those people “have left their own country and enjoy peace and prosperity in European countries, while planning chaos in ours.”
Tsilosani named two individuals in her post: Nana Sander, based in Stuttgart, Germany, and Revaz Berozashvili, living in Brussels, Belgium.
“Who gave you the right to disturb a peaceful country that we have built through great effort?” she wrote.
