Deputy Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Nino Tsilosani, addressed representatives of a dairy products company during a meeting of the parliamentary temporary commission studying the pricing structure of food, medicines, and fuel.

“Dairy products are among the most essential items for our children, and households probably spend the most in this area. There is concern about rising dairy prices. I understand you may discuss ‘cashback’ percentages or taxes that increase your product costs, but I want you to know that the final price of your products affects how healthy our children will grow. My request is that your cooperation with this commission serves the ultimate goal: making these products more affordable so that households can consume more,” Tsilosani said.
