No Covid deaths recorded in Georgia for the first time since Sep.2020

No new Coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Georgia over the past 24 hours, for the first time since September 27, 2020. 

324 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded over the past 24 hours out of the 22,625 tests. 

721 individuals have recovered from the virus in the reported period.

The Omicron variant of coronavirus is circulating in the country as of now.

Since February 26, 2020, when the first case of coronavirus infection was confirmed in Georgia, 1,650,708 cases have been registered by testing. 

16,765 people have died from COVID-19 in Georgia since April 2020.
