No explosives were discovered in educational institutions and shopping centers across the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, according to the State Security Service on Monday.

The reports, which originated from social media and messaging platforms including Telegram, had raised concerns about potential attacks.

After thorough investigation, including overnight actions by law enforcement officers in various schools, no suspicious items were found, the agency said.

The Telegram channel responsible for disseminating these claims has been deleted, it added.

The Ministry of Education has confirmed that classes will resume as scheduled, assuring the public that all necessary security measures had been implemented at the venues in question.
