Ukraine’s Armed Forces report updated Russian combat losses

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Monday released updated figures on Russian combat losses since the start of the war.

As of August 19, 2024, Russia has lost approximately 600,470 soldiers in Ukraine, an increase of 1,120 in the past day, the Genera; Staff claimed.

Estimated total Russian combat losses (February 25, 2022 – August 19, 2024):

Tanks: 8,513 (+5)

Armored Vehicles: 16,495 (+15)

Artillery Systems: 17,104 (+48)

Multiple Rocket Systems: 1,165 (+4)

Air Defense Systems: 925 (+2)

Aircraft: 367 (no change)

Helicopters: 328 (no change)

Operational-Tactical Level Drones: 13,809 (+57)

Cruise Missiles: 2,437 (+5)

Light Speedboats/Ships: 28 (no change)

Submarines: 1 (no change)

Automotive Equipment and Fuel Tanks: 23,047 (+55)

Special Equipment: 2,863 (+17)
