One arrested for attempted burglary at Bank of Georgia Batumi branch

One individual was arrested for attempted burglary at a Bank of Georgia Batumi branch in western Georgia on Friday.

The suspect has also been charged with illegal purchase and storage of firearms.

The branch has already resumed its work.

The incident happened earlier today.

The suspect tried to intimidate the bank employees with a gun and demanded to open the cash register.
