Roman Gotsiridze, an opposition MP and a former member of the United National Movement, on Monday said a “big opposition coalition” was required for the defeat of the current government, not an union of “two or three” opposition groups.

The comment came following the latest alliance between the UNM and Strategy Agmashenebeli, ahead of the 2024 parliamentary elections in the country.

Gotsiridze claimed the “big, opposition coalition” would include “all parties and politicians with similar values”, adding he would join such an election bloc.
