One killed, one wounded amid shooting in Tbilisi Center

A deadly shooting occurred last night, leading to the death of one man and the injury of another. The investigation continued late into the night, and the victim’s body was transported to the National Forensic Bureau.

According to eyewitnesses, multiple gunshots were heard, with reports indicating at least ten shots were fired. The wounded individual, who was accompanying the deceased, was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation under Articles 108 (murder) and 236 (illegal purchase, storage, and carrying of firearms) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

Authorities have not yet disclosed any details regarding potential suspects or motives.
