Only 31.8% of adults fully vaccinated in Georgia

The number of fully vaccinated individuals stands at 907,106, amounting to 31.8% of the entire adult  population in Georgia.

 

1,013 507 individuals amounting to 35.7% of  the country’s adult population have been vaccinated with at least one dose since March 2021.

 

6,203 individuals were vaccinated yesterday.

 

The vaccination rate dropped sharply since the beginning of October.

 

The number of daily vaccinations has been varying  from 3,000 to 8,000 ever since, while there were only two cases in October when the daily vaccinations exceeded 9,000.

 

The National Center for Decease Control and the Ministry of Health consider it necessary to conduct up to 30,000 vaccinations a day.

 

Vaccination process in Georgia started on March 15, 2021.

 

The vaccination is voluntary in Georgia.

 

Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm and Sinovac are among the available vaccines.
