Opposition MP Roman Gotsiridze on Wednesday emphasized the importance of the government prioritizing the welfare of its citizens over bureaucratic expenditures, suggesting the establishment of election precincts in Europe and America.

Gotsiridze advocated for reallocating funds from luxuries and bureaucratic expenses towards this initiative. “It is imperative for the government to extend its outreach by opening election precincts on the European and American continents,” stated Gotsiridze, highlighting the minimal budgetary allocation required for such a purpose.

The opposition claims the authorities lack interest in immigrants’ engagement in the October general elections due to alleged low support.
