In a recent social media post, opposition MP Khatia Dekanoidze criticized the current Georgian Dream authorities for its alleged attempts to “disrupt everyday life and instill fear among the public”, following the protests against the foreign influence bill and accusations to the Government of derailing the country from the Euro-Atlantic course.

“The regime’s main task is to change our way of life, make us lose our balance, become afraid, and switch to defense mode,” Dekanoidze wrote.

She highlighted the defacement of Tbilisi districts, where she said children play, tourists walk, and people live, noting the use of offensive words and signs.

“They swear at children and adults. This is their face and creed.”Dekanoidze emphasized the importance of “standing firm against these tactics: “we should not be afraid of these traitors.”
