Opposition MP, former leader of the United National Movement, Salome Samadashvili says that the pressure coming from the public, “from the electorate of the ruling party and the opposition, forced the Georgian Dream” to take a step to visit Ukraine.

In her Facebook post earlier today, Samadashvili said that the opposition MPs should not refuse ti visit Kyiv along with the ruling party members as a general invitation for MPs came from Ukraine and without the invitation no delegation is permitted to any country during a war.

Samadashvili noted that the Georgian Dream ‘still represents the part of the public,” until the “reality is changed” and the opposition would not have requested Ukraine to send a separate invitation.
