While attending divine services and the Holy Liturgy in our churches, every person is required to keep distance from each other and to wear masks.
The wine that is traditionally given after the Holy Communion should be distributed in disposable cups.
The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia calls on the churches and monasteries of Georgia to ensure that the required distance is kept during the following three weeks and the wine that is traditionally given after the Holy Communion is distributed in disposable cups.
– “Due to the pandemic, from 14 August of the current year, during the coming three weeks, every church and monastery is to ensure (it has been before) that the required distance is kept and the wine that is traditionally given after the Holy Communion is distributed in disposable cups,” – is mentioned in the ordinance of the Catholicos-Patriarch.
