Today at 17:00, a protest titled Protect 1 Citizen’s 1 Choice will take place in Tbilisi. Organized by the Protect organization, citizens will gather in front of the Government Chancellery to demand the opening of additional polling stations abroad.
Opposition parties and various political groups are joining the protest.
“There’s high engagement not only from the diaspora but also here in Georgia ahead of these elections. This engagement is essential. Everyone has noticed various issues, including a lack of polling stations, among other concerns. This protest is about ensuring vigilance and maximizing citizen participation to secure fair elections,” said Otar Zurabishvili, head of the Georgian Historical Society in France.
