Out of 160New cases of coronavirus in Georgia, 73 were detected in Tbilisi and 33 in Imereti

According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, out of 160 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 73 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 17, Imereti – 33, Kvemo Kartli – 5, Shida Kartli – 3, Guria – 9, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 9 , Kakheti – 6, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 3, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 1, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 1.

At present, there are 1,849 active cases of infection, of which: 1 510 people are treated in hospitals, including 719 in Tbilisi hospitals, 173 in Adjara, 278 in Imereti. At this stage, 265 people are seriously ill, including 103 in Tbilisi, Adjara – 31, in Imereti – 72. There are 89 people on artificial respiration, 58 of them in Tbilisi, 4 in Adjara, 11 in Imereti. 154 people are accommodated in clinical hotels, including 99 in Tbilisi, 43 in Adjara, 9 in Imereti. 185 people are undergoing a course of treatment for the virus in a residential apartment.

253 people are placed in quarantine areas, including 101 in Tbilisi and 25 in Adjara.

In total, from October 6 to February 28, 23,369 people were transferred from the state border to quarantine areas.

At this stage, 6,816 people are in self-isolation, including 3,312 in Tbilisi, 386 in Adjara and 664 in Imereti.
