Out of 761 new cases of coronavirus, 434 were detected in Tbilisi

According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 34,201 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 20,281 tests with antigen tests and 13,920 PCR tests.
As a result of the testing, 761 new confirmed cases of virus infection were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 286,406.
As for the positive rate, as of April 7, the daily rate of positive is 2.23%, for the last 14 days – 2.03%, and for 7 days – 2.50%.
In the last 24 hours, 537 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of people recovered to 276,084.
There have been 9 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 3,849 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 761 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 434 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 67, Imereti – 59, Kvemo Kartli – 20, Shida Kartli – 24, Guria – 33, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 77, Kakheti – 19, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 23, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 2, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 3.
At present, there are 6,447 active cases of infection, of which: 2,045 people are treated in hospitals, including 992 in Tbilisi hospitals, 312 in Adjara, 313 in Imereti. 38, in Imereti -68. There are 62 people on artificial respiration, 39 of them in Tbilisi, 3 in Adjara, 10 in Imereti. 314 people are placed in clinical hotels, including 196 in Tbilisi and 113 in Adjara. 4,088 people are undergoing treatment for the virus in apartment.
229 people are placed in quarantine areas, including 106 in Tbilisi and 35 in Adjara.
A total of 24,090 people were transferred from the state border to quarantine areas from October 6 to April 7.
At this stage, 11,270 people are in self-isolation, including 5,031 in Tbilisi, 1,754 in Adjara, and 975 in Imereti.
