Paata Manjgaladze, a member of the opposition party United National Movement (UNM), stated that the ruling Georgian Dream government is effectively over, despite the party’s denial. According to Manjgaladze, the leaders of the Georgian Dream are deceiving themselves and living in a false reality, symbolized by a “man trapped in a shower cabin,” referring to the ruling party founder and honorary chair, Bidzina Ivanishvili.

When speaking about Sunday’s march Georgia chooses the EU, Manjgaladze pointed to the mass turnout of at least 100,000 people in Tbilisi, saying they came out in support of Georgia’s European path without any formal mobilization.

“This shows that the Georgian Dream’s time in power has ended. Instead of accepting this, their leaders foolishly lie to themselves,” he noted.

He called on citizens to support the UNM, which he emphasized as the primary opposition force aiming to change the Ivanishvili regime.

“Friends, victory is near. Most importantly, let’s stand behind the United National Movement, the main opposition party committed to ending Ivanishvili’s rule,” Manjgaladze urged.
