The Parliament of Georgia on Wednesday elected Levan Nemsadze and Mikheil Jincharadze as judges of the Supreme Court.
Both candidates were nominated by the High Council of Justice and received unanimous support, with 82 votes in favour.
As Nemsadze is not a sitting judge, he took the oath of office in Parliament, in accordance with legal procedure.
Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili congratulated the newly appointed judges on their election and wished them success in their future judicial work.
