Parliament Chairman announces Georgian government approval scheduled for Thursday

The Georgian Parliament will approve the new government on Thursday, according to Chairman Shalva Papuashvili.

Papuashvili stated that discussions on the composition and program of the government are underway, with committee-level deliberations planned for today and tomorrow.

“The composition of the government has been presented. Discussions will be held today and tomorrow in committees. The composition and program of the government will be discussed on Thursday at the faction session and then at the plenary session and approved by the Government of Georgia. We will approve the government on Thursday,” he said.
