We should remember that the future of the people and the nation must be peaceful. We are worried by Russia-Ukraine relations, Georgian Patriarch Ilia II said in his New Year address.

“The new year is upon us. Today we hear the words of King David the prophet – “teach me the way, o Lord, I will walk”. We are worried about the relationship that is between Russia and Ukraine and it is facing a big problem.I hope it will be solved by peace and peace will win in both countries” said the top cleric.

Wishing Georgians peace and health, Ilia II said “glory to God in the highest and peace on earth and virtue among men”.
