Patriarchate condemns clash between two novitiates, police investigate the case

The Georgian Patriarchate has condemned a clash between two novitiates which has recently gone viral and has triggered a large-scale outcry. 

The Patriarchate said that the two individuals in the video, who were taken as monks or priests by many on social media, were novitiates and stated that the “action we have witnessed is absolutely unacceptable, immoral and not – Christian.’ 

The police are already looking into the case per two articles – violence and illegal possession and dissemination of a private life video.
