Armenian President to attend funeral of Patriarch Ilia II in Tbilisi

Vahagn Khachaturyan has arrived in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi to attend the funeral ceremony of the country’s late Patriarch Ilia II.

At Tbilisi International Airport, the Armenian President was welcomed by Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili and Head of the Presidential Administration Ketevan Kvinikadze.

Khachaturyan is expected to attend the funeral of the Georgian Patriarch together with an official delegation.
