Poti police detain suspect in knife attack

Staff of the Poti city police unit in western Georgia took into custody a suspect, age 35, on a count of intentional heavy bodily wound.
The home office said a case study found that, following a heated dispute in Poti, the suspect used a knife to wound a man, age 49, then fled the scene.
The wounded man was taken to a clinic and is getting medical aid.
Law staff seized the suspect soon past the act.
The case is ongoing under a law code item that allows up to seven full cycles in jail.
