Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced at a government meeting on Wednesday that motorcycles and mopeds will be permitted to use bus lanes beginning September 1.
The City Hall will present a resolution to the City Assembly that will outline the specifics of when and how these vehicles can operate in bus lanes, he said.
Kaladze explained, “the Assembly is currently discussing this matter, and we aim for the new regulation to take effect from September 1, 2024.”
