Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has designated the days from January 3 to January 5, 2024, as holidays for employees in administrative bodies across Georgia. The corresponding resolution has been officially signed by him.
According to the resolution, each administrative body is tasked with identifying the specific services or employees within its jurisdiction or system to whom this holiday provision will not apply. Exceptions will be made in cases where the performance of their functions is deemed urgently necessary for the implementation of state power and the normal functioning of society.
The resolution excludes financial obligations due by individuals under the supervision of the National Bank of Georgia. Additionally, activities related to state procurement, as outlined by the Law of Georgia “On State Procurement,” are not affected by this holiday declaration. This information has been released by the government administration.
