Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has told Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan in Tbilisi that the relations of the two countries are ‘at an all-time-high.’
Garibashvili stated that the ‘current ideal relationship between the countries’ is the merit of the governments of both states.
He has reiterated that Georgia is ready to mediate for peace in the region.
Georgia was involved in the release of Armenian war prisoners from Azerbaijan earlier this year, following the recent armed conflict between the two countries over disputed Nagorno-Karabakh.
Pashinyan arrived in Georgia earlier today.
After a face-to-face meeting, he and Garibashvili are scheduled to chair an intergovernmental economic commission meeting.
The meeting will be attended by Georgian and Armenia officials representing various economic directions.
