PM Kobakhidze announces increase in prize for European Championship qualification

The prize for qualifying for the European Championship will increase to three million GEL, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze announced at a government meeting on Monday. 

According to the Prime Minister, the current prize of 850,000 GEL will be increased.

“A bonus of 850,000 GEL is currently provided for national teams that qualify for the European Championship. After discussions with the Ministry of Culture and Sports, we have decided to raise this amount to 3 million GEL. This decree is being considered today, and we are hopeful for your support,” said Kobakhidze.
