Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze officially opened the new House of Justice in Sagarejo, marking the 19th such facility in the Kakheti region and the 125th nationwide. Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Prime Minister emphasized the government's commitment to expanding access to public services across the country.
"Ensuring maximum access to public services and caring for our citizens remains one of the government's top priorities," Kobakhidze stated. He noted that the Houses of Justice offer approximately 500 different public services, and the new facility in Sagarejo features state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to provide efficient and user-friendly service.
The new building, with its modern architecture, brings together various agencies under the Ministry of Justice into a single integrated space. Around 20 employees will work in the Sagarejo facility in a comfortable and inclusive environment. The Prime Minister also highlighted that the building is fully adapted to meet the needs of persons with disabilities.
Kobakhidze praised the success of the Mobile House of Justice initiative as well, noting that over 24,000 residents in 15 villages across Kakheti have already benefited from mobile services.
“This reflects the growing accessibility of public services. Expanding this network remains a key strategic direction for the government,” he said. “We aim to ensure that every citizen, in every part of the country, has equal access to essential services.”
The Prime Minister concluded by thanking the Ministry of Justice, its leadership and staff, the local government of Sagarejo, and all those involved in bringing the project to completion.
