Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Monday claimed his office would approve the deoligarchisation action plan, one of 12 conditions for Georgia’s EU candidacy also reflected in nine conditions for opening the bloc’s accession talks with the country after the European Commission recommended the Council in November to grant Tbilisi the status in December.

“The Government has a specific vision for each step or reform, and has written a corresponding action plan and deadlines for implementation”, Garibashvili said.

The Venice Commission of the Council of Europe earlier this year recommended Georgia  to have a “systemic, not an individual approach” to the issue.
