Poland is working to ensure that Ukraine receives additional security guarantees at the NATO forthcoming summit in Vilnius in July, Polish President Andrzej Duda said on Wednesday, at a joint press conference with visiting Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

In his comments,Zelenskyy said the situation in the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut remained “one of the most difficult” on the frontline.

“We are in Bakhmut and the enemy does not control it. This is the situation today,” Zelenskyy said.

He said Bakhmut was controlled by General Oleksandr Syrskyi, and his main goal was to save his personnel.
