The Georgian law enforcement officers have arrested 14 individuals in Tbilisi and regions for  illegal purchase and storage, carrying and the sale of firearms and ammunition, the Georgian interior ministry said on Wednesday. 

 

The suspects face three to nine years in prison. 

 

Police have seized various weapons and ammunition from the apartments of the detainees.
