Political expert Khukhashvili: everything in Saakashvili’s trails works for him

Political expert Gia Khukhashvili has told Front News that everything which happens during former president Mikheil Saakashvili’s trials, benefits the interests of the third president. 

Khukhashvili says that there is a ‘serious gap’ between the governmental, verbal  accusations towards Saakashvili and the offenses he has been charged with. 

“The Georgian Dream government frequently describes Saakashvili as a murderer, torturer, sadist, while he has been charged with embazzlememt and similar offenses. Even the people who are sure Saakashvili committed crimes while in office, mey doubt his guilt,” Khukhashvili stated. 

He also said that the prosecutors in Saakashvili’s cases also act in a non-professional manner and further benefit Saakashvili’s interests to display himself innocent.
