Police arrest two over drug-related offences in Georgia

The crime carries penalties of up to 20 years or life imprisonment

Officers from the Central Criminal Police Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested two individuals on drug-related charges.
The arrested are D.B., born in 1978, previously convicted of drug offences and currently serving a suspended sentence, and G.G., born in 1996.
Searches of the suspects’ residences uncovered large and particularly large quantities of various narcotics, including cocaine, dried marijuana, and cannabis plants.
Authorities also seized materials used for packaging and distributing the drugs.
The crime carries penalties of up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
