Police seize large quantities of drugs and firearms, three arrested

The Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has arrested three individuals on charges related to drug trafficking, the body said on Saturday.
The Ministry said the suspects are accused of illegally acquiring, storing and attempting to store large and particularly large quantities of narcotic substances.
During searches of the suspects’ personal and residential premises, law enforcement officials confiscated various drugs as evidence, including 380 grams of alpha-PVP and over 120 grams of dried marijuana.
Additionally, investigators seized materials for packaging narcotics, a firearm, a magazine and ammunition.
The crime is punishable by up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
