The Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom has already started preparations for the visit of newly elected British PM Liz Truss to Kyiv, – said the Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK, Vadim Prystaiko.

“When she officially becomes Prime Minister, I think there will be an immediate call and there will be no delay in arranging the visit. We, as a diplomatic representation, have already started preparing for this visit”, Prystaiko said on Tuesday.

The diplomat claimed that the British public “is unanimous” in the position that Russia should lose this war.

Liz Truss was appointed as the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on Monday, who will meet the Queen later on Tuesday and will be officially appointed as the Prime Minister, replacing Boris Johnson to the post.
