President of the UNGA76 Abdulla Shahid visits Georgia

Abdulla Shahid, President of the UNGA76 and Foreign Minister of Maldives is visiting Georgia.

“Delighted to arrive in Tbilisi, Georgia. Grateful for the warm welcome accorded by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Lasha Darsalia,” Shahid tweeted on Monday.

He has already visited the Telavi Historic Museum in eastern Georgia.

“Enjoyed a visit to a landmark of Georgia — Telavi Historic Museum. The museum complex, with its architectural-historical features, is a remarkable monument of cultural heritage,” he said.

Shahid was appointed Minister for Foreign Affairs ofMaldives in 2018 for the second time.
