President’s office cites protocol violation for Zourabichvili’s absence at ambassadors conference

The president’s office on Monday cited the protocol violation as the reason for the absence of Salome Zourabichvili at the ongoing ambassadors conference. 

“The President is not attending the event because she has not been granted the place outlined by the protocol, which is a protocol violation,” the president’s administration said.

The conference on Monday and Tuesday summarizes the  country’s diplomats work in 2022 and discusses future prospects. 

The Georgian top officials, including the prime minister, had addressed the occasion.
