President Zourabichvili congratulates law enforcement on Police Day from EP

Georgian president Salome Zourabichvili on Wednesday extended her congratulations to her country’s law enforcement from the European Parliament, where she is scheduled to deliver a speech.  

 

“Today, from Brussels, from the European Parliament, I congratulate the Georgian police on their professional day. The role of the police as a democratic institution in a European country is very important.The country’s democracy and, therefore, its Europeanness is measured by the protection of human rights and the safety of its own citizens”, Zourabichvili said. 

 

She added “I thank our police officers for their service and dedication to the country”.
