President Zourabichvili to award national football team at public celebration

President Salome Zourabichvili is set to participate in today’s public celebration, where she will honor members of the national football team and representatives from the national football federation.

According to the presidential administration, President Zourabichvili will award orders of honor and medals to individuals recognized for their outstanding contributions to Georgian football. This includes their achievement in reaching the final stage of the 2024 European Football Championship and their significant role in advancing Georgian football to new heights and promoting its popularity.

The ceremony to welcome the football players will take place today at Freedom Square at 10:00 PM.
